The Peoples of the First World

The Three Creations

According to ancient texts and the Book of Enoch, three distinct orders of beings exist in the antediluvian world:

  1. The First Creation - Angels (Watchers): Created before the foundation of the earth, spiritual beings of immense power.
  2. The Second Creation - Humanity (Adam's Line): Made in the image of God, given dominion over the earth.
  3. The Third Creation - Nephilim (Forbidden Union): Offspring of Watchers and humans. Unnatural, powerful, and corrupted.

Classification System

PURE HUMAN LINES

Descendants of Adam through Seth or Cain. Shortest-lived but most blessed.

The City Builders

Descendants of the first murderer, builders of the first cities, masters of metallurgy and music.

Attributes: +2 Any, +1 Any

Starting Cost: 0 RP / 1 CP

Mark of Cain: Cannot be killed in single combat by vengeance seekers.

City Born: Advantage on social checks in urban settings.

Builder's Heritage: Proficiency with two artisan tools.

Wanderers
Nomadic Tribes

Those who rejected both the cities of Cain and the strictures of Seth, living in the wilds.

Attributes: +2 DEX, +1 WIS

Starting Cost: Variable

Survivalist: Advantage on finding food/water.

Swift Footed: Base speed 35 ft.

The Watcher Bloodlines

Nephilim traits depend on their Watcher sire. Semjaza's line are kings; Azazel's are warriors and smiths.

Nephilim
First Generation Giants

Direct offspring of Angels and Humans. Titans of the ancient world.

Size: Large (12-15 ft)

Attributes: +4 STR, +2 CON, -2 DEX

Starting Cost: 0 RP / 3-5 CP

Angelic Resistance: Resistance to Radiant damage.

Insatiable Hunger: Must eat 4x normal food or gain Corruption.

Powerful Build: Count as Huge for lifting/grappling.

⚠️ EXTREME DANGER: Interacting with Fallen Watchers risks immediate Corruption (2d6 CP) and possession.

Sunlight Sensitivity: Disadvantage in direct sun.

Stone Cunning: Expertise in stone-related history/investigation.

Humans initiated into Watcher mysteries, altering their bloodlines forever.

Attributes: +2 INT, +1 CHA

Dark Insight: Passive Detect Magic.

Blood Magic: Sacrifice HP to cast spells without slots.

Watcher's Mark: Angels can sense you from 1 mile away.

Corrupted Beasts

Dinosaurs & Dragons

In this era, dinosaurs (Behemoth) and dragons (Leviathan) coexist, often twisted by Watcher experiments.
